Interview with the winner of the “Customer Service Pro” nomination — Lincoln.money

August 19, 2025

In the crypto community, trust and service are not just words. In June, the Kursoff platform recognized the exchanger Lincoln.money in the category “Client Service Pro”, and rightly so: from the very first months of operation, the team focused on customer care, transparency, and a human-centered approach.

In this interview, we spoke with Andrii — co-founder of Lincoln.money — about how it all began, how reputation is built without “paper licenses,” why a Telegram bot matters, and how even the name of the exchanger carries a personal story.

- Hi! To begin with, tell us a bit about yourself. What’s your name, which exchanger do you represent, and how long have you been in crypto?

Hi, my name is Andrii. I am the co-founder of the exchanger Lincoln.money. I’ve been in the crypto space since 2017, and the exchanger itself is quite new. We’re only at the beginning of our journey.

-How would you describe Lincoln.money to someone hearing about it for the first time? What makes you unique?

Simplicity and convenience. When creating the exchange service, we wanted everything to be as simple as possible for the client, so they would never feel difficulties during the exchange process.

-How did the name of your service come about?

It all started with the car brand of the same name. That was my first car — it showed me what taste and elegance mean. The name is associated with the brand, as well as with one of the U.S. presidents. We wanted to create something refined, with a high level of service.

-What steps do you consider more important right now for proving your reliability than “paper licenses”?

In a year of our work, we haven’t received a single negative review or had a single dissatisfied client. We truly care about our reputation. We have also made significant deposits on several platforms — I believe such actions best emphasize our reliability.

-What mattered more to you when choosing the technical solution for the exchanger: universality or flexibility for your processes? How did you decide on the script?

We looked for reliable partners we wouldn’t have to worry about. We needed mobility and full control over the code so we could review it and make adjustments whenever necessary.

-Which communication format with clients (chat, voice, video, etc.) has proven most effective for you, and why?

Online chat — that’s the most convenient format for us. We also like support through a Telegram bot.

-What requirements for crypto processing and AML checks are critically important for you?

The main thing is that a decent person reaches out. Because when someone with dishonest intentions or “dirty” money comes along, they always try to deceive you.

-Do you think it makes sense to launch a new exchanger today?

It’s not about the number of exchangers but the quality. Our goal is to create an educational and useful service, not just another “empty” exchanger.

-Do you attend crypto events? Which ones do you find most useful for yourself?

We want to attend TOKEN2049 and Paris Blockchain Week.

-When did you first hear about Bitcoin, and did you believe in it back then?

I heard about Bitcoin a long time ago — driven by my constant desire to learn and grow. I even started mining it on a weaker computer. But those coins ended up roughly where the coins of a well-known miner from England did.

Author’s note: this refers to the Brit who lost a hard drive containing 8,000 BTC. Twelve years ago, his girlfriend accidentally threw the drive away at a landfill. James Howells spent all these years trying to find it, even offering the city administration to search together and split the funds. But he was always refused. He has now officially ended the search. Today, the drive is worth about $950 million. The woman admitted she threw away the “junk” at James’s own request. 🗿

-Do you hold any crypto now?

Yes, of course. I strongly believe in the potential of a Ukrainian exchange. I hold WBT, Ethereum, and Bitcoin.

-What is most important for you in partnerships? And how can platforms like Kursoff really help an exchanger?

The most important thing is that partners treat their cooperation with each other as seriously as they treat their interaction with clients.

-Describe your first impressions when you learned that you had won our nomination — what emotions did this bring to you and your team?

It was a pleasant surprise for us, but at the same time — another step forward for the successful development of our project.

-What opportunities does participation in Kursoff’s closed P2P group open up for your exchanger?

A friendly community and access to closed demands necessary to retain clients.

-Thank you for an insightful interview. What would you wish to our readers and colleagues in the market?

I wish everyone self-development and a good start in every endeavor. May your goals become reality!
